The excitement re lego city continued all week - yes it's a fire hydrant (every village needs one) complete with dog to pee on it (had fun explaining that one to DJ); another fireman; another section of wall with air tanks and face shield; a couple of presents; some kind of snow-throwing machine; a sleigh (must be Santa's); some road signs and a wheelbarrow with a shovel for cleaning up the snow (it would take a while to shovel our driveway with that!)

Other noteworthy things that happened this week included the School Bazaar. I did help with the set up but I would have loved to have been there on the day to see the kids especially the primary's picking gift for their Mums & Dads and siblings - DJ s picks were pretty good, a pen flashlight for Daddy because he didn't have one like it and a candle holder for me because it has flowers on it. It also says 'the best gift is a true friend'. What a sweetie. But he did make us open them that night - no way he was waiting until Christmas Day :)
Unfortunately we missed out on the Jingle Bell Pot Luck . . . sometimes life just gets in the way and you just have to change your plans. Too bad, I think it's the first year we have missed it.
And best of all - school holidays started - whoo hoo! We won't mention the red homework folder for a few days though.
