HAPPY NEW YEAR!A Blue Moon and no snow here in Fall River . . . . . . seems like all the snow went to Ireland this winter!
It was a beautiful evening though, a quiet one for us, as we stood on the back deck in the freezing cold to ring it in. Peaceful in a word. Let's hope the rest of the year follows that theme, eh?
New Year's Day saw some snow and after lazing about all morning, we ventured out to Mum's for dinner. Roast beef and all the trimmings, washed down with a bottle of sparkling Shiraz (that was different!) and delicious homemade Apple Cranberry Crumble - mmm mmm good! Thanks Mum
DJ had to wear his New Year hat that he made a daycare - not that it kept him warm but it looked great. Also pictured here is DJ with Grandma's Christmas tree - something a little different that looks great too :)
