I am a lucky Lady for many reasons - one of which is having Friends that call me Auntie Ellie, even though its a term of endearment, not because we are related!! And of course I do have 9 nieces/nephews by virtue of being married to Jonathan! But there is nothing that compares to finding out that you are a *real* Auntie, especially when the child belongs to your only sister. Susie & I both thought at one point that neither of us were going to have any kids of our own, so it's interesting that we both became Mothers at 40-something!
