In all the excitement I forgot the most important piece of news. Jonathan got his PR (Permanent Resident) card in the mail on Friday (yes St Patrick's Day, how apt is that!) and his Social Insurance number. So that means he is official, approved, accepted, certified!!! :) He can stay here and work for as long as he likes and if he wants to, he can apply for citizenship in 5 years. As if we didn't have enough of an excuse to party on Friday.
It's been a long journey from February 2005 to this but we did it and it's been great so far. Looking forward to the next part of the journey - our New House, less than 2 weeks to moving in day. . . . we'll keep you posted.
