It was a first for us - first time at the Jack Frost Festival and the first time in PEI in another season than summer!
We went for the Jack Frost Festival and it was brilliant. We arrived on Friday evening, parked the car and checked into the Delta Hotel. VIP tickets meant early access to outdoor and indoor events. Shuttle bus meant the car stayed in the car park and we didn't have to consider parking - yay!
There were outdoor and indoor activities and a pool at the Hotel. Outdoor on Friday night and Sunday morning - ice slides, CAT tubes, ice rink, sleigh rides, ice sculptures and the best igloo ever. Indoor on Saturday started early - bouncy castles, a petting zoo (a hilarious feeding frenzy including two cute little piglets, some very hungry llamas and an assortment of chickens, cows, goats, ducks and an ostrich or two), LEGO builds with Brickz 4 Kidz and a new friend.
And the Imagination Movers. Truth be told this was the main reason we were at the festival! It may have been our first time in PEI in Winter, but not the first time seeing the Movers. Third time in fact - and these guys just get better and better every time we see them. They are high energy, lots of fun and they can sing - everything from a rock ballad to a lullaby and everything in between. But the best part is the parents love them a much as the kids.
