Well I have on good authority from friends with older boys that boys do not ever grow out of the love of all things cars-trucks-trains. One friend in particular - known as (Dylan's) Mad Auntie Sandie. Her first born had the same love of Thomas and has (had) a collection of engines that were 'somewhere in the attic'. Over the course of the summer, a series of parcels arrived for Master D Bolton, each of which contained a carefully weighed (An Post are almost as dear as Canada Post) selection of engines.

Thomas & Friends
Thomas as you all know is a Proper Name - some of you will even know that it was Cappa's real name and is one of Dylan' s middle names. It is also the name of a very famous children's character that has been around for more years than I know. And DJ discovered Thomas & his friends a year or two ago. So, for Christmas last year Santa brought him a train set, Thomas, James & Emily. He even had a Thomas themed birthday party this year.
