Ha - I will fall for it this year. The last 2 years I have been lulled into a false sense of Spring at the beginning of March (I think my seasonal time clock is still set to Irish time) and then we got hit by more (snow)storms around St Patrick's day. Eternal optimism prevails though - maybe this year will be different. Human nature, eh? We all want to believe things will be different (if different means better) and sometimes we get disappointed. Is there a metaphor here?

Hint of Spring
It's March; people are talking about Daffodil Days; alot of the snow has melted due to the rain we had yesterday - so it must be Spring, right?

My kitchen certainly thinks it is Spring, judging by the window display seen here. Outside it's harder to tell as the buds on the trees (I heard a rumour there are some) were covered in ice yesterday from the freezing rain we endured all morning and today there is so much fog (temperatures came up 12 degrees in one hour) I can't see as far as the garage. But I think we'll be brave and venture outside for a look. Carpe Diem!
