Well, ever since then, Jonathan has surfed the net and test driven every Jeep in the province. I will admit I thought it (looking for a Jeep) was becoming a hobby but I should have remembered that when Jonathan puts his mind to something, he usually gets what he wants.
So no big surprise when he landed a 4wd Jeep in great condition for considerably less than the initial asking price.
We switched the baby seat to the Jeep and took it for a Sunday drive, across the snowy roads in Oakfield Park. We didn't need the 4-wheel drive but Jonathan did give a helping hand to a guy who stuck (apparently he recently sold his 4wd and must have forgotten that when he parked in a snow bank!)
What do I think of JonnyB mk2, as I like to call it? Well, it's definitely more comfy than mk1 - British Racing Green isn't really my colour and I will probably only drive it if I need to! I'll stick with my Sebring thanks, especially now we have snow tires on it. But it's nice to know we have a real winter-beater in the stable (if only we had room in the garage too).
