But he looked so smart when I picked him up the next day - as can be seen here. It's hard work getting pampered, you know!
It took a day or two for him to settle in and find his preferred sleeping spot. And now that he is settled in, Patsy is due back and it's back to being a city dog.
So, what will this globe-trotting pooch miss? I suspect the freedom to run free - no lead required around here - and the companionship.
Oisin & Amy, who met a couple of times previous to this, had great fun charging through the woods in the early morning cool, demonstrating that it is not only cars that have 4-wheel drive as they charged up & down trenches, leapt over trees & rocks and reversed out of a couple of slippery spots. Oh yes, it's great to be in the country - especially when you can sleep all day. Mind you, only problem for us humans is if they sleep all day, they don't sleep all night . . . welcome home Patsy and here's to a good night's sleep for me!
