Visitors

Happy Days!!! First visitors confirmed – I always knew someone would come to visit ;)
We have had visitors of sorts – Dad, Jane, Doug & Amanda and of course Granby (the cutest Toy Poodle you ever saw!). Even Alfie promises to come this weekend now that he has finished exams.
As nice as it is to have family visit, the out-of-towners attract a lot more attention! So, first up is my Mum, Patsy, who we managed to persuade to come for a week, leaving poor wee Oisin (the cutest Shi Tsu you ever saw), to visit his second family, but no worries he’s in good hands. So Mum arrives in May 6th - her first visit to Halifax in 25 years!! I wonder how much of a change she’ll see.
Next up will be Susie, arriving June 23rd for a weekend party (someone is having a Birthday!), followed very closely by The McCabe’s, all the way from ‘Bonny Scotland’. Karen & Rory, along with Grace & Alex are no strangers to travelling either. I wonder how Halifax will compare to Dubai!! Come to think of they have a habit of turning up for friends celebrations (especially birthdays). And hopefully we can coerce Reverend Julie to come for the weekend party too.
So, not that we need any excuses to party – we’ll be celebrating Family, Friends & New Home this summer as much as possible. Anyone else who is open to being persuaded to visit, we’ll post a Visitor’s Calendar on Google and you can pick your time!! Or just give us a call and we’ll check the diary for you. We’ll even waive the B&B rates as long as you promise to bring Duty Free and gifts from ‘Home’!!!!! And there is lots to do & see - especially in the summer time.
Those of you who can’t make it yet, feel free to send Care Packages (I’ll email address to you all in case you lost it). Anything that has Cadbury’s or Butler’s Chocolate will not be returned! Thanks to Mum & Sandra Doyle for sending Cadbury’s Easter eggs, we thoroughly enjoyed every bite, with a little help from my brother Doug, who is still on a sugar high!
Looking forward to seeing you all soon.
