Leopardstown is always a good time, even better if you have a few winners! Bulmers sponsor a festival there every summer, which includes a series of music gigs. Big names (once upon a time). Think Paul Young, The Stunning, Happy Mondays. And The Waterboys.
What a way to close out a great holiday. 3 weeks in Ireland, we got to Kinsale, stayed at the lovely Blue Haven H0tel, visited Blarney Castle, met up with old friends, ate wonderful food and sampled the local drinks. Week 2 was a Family vacation in Brittas Bay. 4 families eating and playing together every day is a whole lot of fun and DJ had a blast hanging with his cousins.
A few days in The West was just what the doctor ordered to revive the soul - that salty Atlantic Air always clears the head. And a visit with my college bestie was a must. TKD class with them was lots of fun too . . . one of DJs highlights.
